Frankfurt International Airport in Germany has awarded a contract to Canada-based Visual Defence to install the full 3C security solution at the airport.
The new solution will help manage the airport’s existing alarm management system as well as monitoring CCTV cameras and control lines from a single command and control point.
The system will simplify the management process that will in turn improve asset management and physical security safety functions, thereby benefiting airport operators.
The new 3C security solution acts as an administrator to all the devices and connects the multiple security subsystems in the airport including the hundreds of analogue and digital cameras throughout all terminals to the network.
Frankfurt Airport will join BAA’s London Heathrow Airport on the list of companies that depend on the visual defence security solutions.
