Construction of a new terminal at Jackson Hole Airport in the US will begin soon after officials accepted a $30m bid for the project.

The project, to be mostly funded by the federal government, will add 39,000ft² to the terminal, taking the total area to a total 93,000ft².

The terminal building bid was about $1m more than expected while baggage system came in about $500,000 lower, USA Today reports quoting senior airport officials.
