Edinburgh Airport has awarded a contract for the construction of stand 33 to UK company Morgan Est.
Under the contract Morgan Est will continue improving the airport’s runway, taxiway and stands—a project it has been working on for 18 years on behalf of the British Airports Authority (BAA) .
This new contract includes the construction of 7,000m² pavement quality concrete stand, taxiway, excavations, drainage and installation of airfield ground lighting systems.
The construction of stand 33 is expected to be complete by October 2009.
