Belgium Airports See Passenger Increase

An increase of 2.77% in passenger traffic at Belgium airports has been seen in March compared to the same month the previous year, according to a report by Belgocontrol. The airports have served 92,417 passengers in March 2009 as compared to 89,925 passengers in March 2008.

An increase of 2.77% in passenger traffic at Belgium airports has been seen in March compared to the same month the previous year, according to a report by Belgocontrol.

The airports have served 92,417 passengers in March 2009 as compared to 89,925 passengers in March 2008.

According to the report, the first two months of 2009 recorded a 12.80% and 18.76% drop in passenger traffic respectively, compared to the same months last year.

A decrease of 7.61% in passenger traffic has been observed at the Brussels National Airport while the CANAC centre also saw a drop of 6.45%.
