Florida’s Orlando International Airport recorded an overall drop of 12.8% in passenger traffic during the first quarter of 2009, in comparison to the same period last year.

Orlando’s domestic passenger traffic witnessed a decline of 13.8%, whereas International traffic dropped by 0.9% in the first quarter as compared to that of 2008.

For the month of March, total operations at the airport were off 18.4%.

Passenger[P2] traffic in the domestic sector was down 13.1%, whereas international traffic witnessed a fall of 10% in March 2009 as compared to March 2008.
