The airports in the US state of New Mexico are to receive large funds from the Federal Aviation Administration to allow them to be properly maintained.
New Mexico Senator Jeff Bingaman said that airports in Roswell, Santa Fe and Farmington will receive $1m each.
The Albuquerque Sunport will get $3.7m, while other small airports around the state will receive $150,000, as reported by koat.com.
In addition, more than $6m will be awarded to the New Mexico Department of Transportation for use at any airport of their choice, with the exception of Sunport.
