Birmingham Airport in the UK has opened a new renovated terminal as part of a £100m redevelopment plan.
The £13m terminal redevelopment project has merged with the airport’s two terminals into one.
The new terminal has a larger centralised passenger security search area, an enlarged arrivals area and more shops and restaurants.
The renovated terminal is expected to help the airport recapture lost traffic and has a new 2000m² walk-through duty-free area for the airport’s 4.5 million departing passengers.
