Muscat airport starts passenger terminal project work

Muscat International Airport in Oman has started the construction of a new passenger terminal project.

Muscat International Airport in Oman has started the construction of a new passenger terminal project.

The 334,995m² terminal is designed to handle 12 million passengers a year and accommodate 8,000 cars.

The main terminal will have two separate terminals for departures and arrivals on the upper section and an arrival terminal on the lower part.

Construction of the first phase will be completed by April 2014.
