New Zealand’s Auckland Airport has launched a new and advanced app-based programme that has been designed to recognise the travel choices of passengers with personalised services and benefits.
The airport is currently inviting passengers and other customers to join the programme, named as Strata Club.
The free-to-join programme enables customers to customise their experience at Auckland Airport to gain immediate online access to a wide range of travel benefits.
Offered in tiers based on a passengers’s purchases over a year, the Strata Club benefits will be available for all international and domestic passengers, regardless of their airline and class of travel.
The benefits will also be available for everyone visiting both the international and domestic terminals at Auckland Airport.
Auckland Airport Marketing and Technology general manager Jason Delamore said: “Strata Club is one of the many ways we’re investing in getting to know our customers better so we can provide them with more personalised services and benefits that recognise their individual travel needs and choices.
“It has been designed by our customers for our customers, and is part of an extensive programme of short and long-term improvements that will help us offer a rewarding, personal experience to all our customers, every time they visit Auckland Airport.”
The Strata Club members will be able to access their membership information via the Auckland Airport app, which helps passengers plan a smooth journey to and from the airport, or the Auckland Airport website.
Delamore added: “Strata Club provides practical, individual, travel-related benefits that our research tells us customers value highly.
“These benefits include longer access to free and improved Wi-Fi, parking upgrades and discounts, special offers from participating general, duty free and food and beverage retailers, and discounted entry to Auckland Airport’s Emperor Lounge.”
Strata Club programme has been developed based on the inputs drawn from a Auckland Airport survey that involved more than 1,200 customers to better understand and recognise their needs and travel choices.
Unlike other recognition schemes, Strata Club can be only accessed using mobile devices and online.
