The privatisation of Incheon International Airport in South Korea will be deferred to 2011 due to delays in the revision of related laws.

The Korean government plans to sell part of a 49% stake in Incheon International Airport Corporation, the airport’s operator, as part of its plan to privatise state-owned companies.

This plan has been delayed following concerns that the proposed privatisation will increase airport service charges and an outflow of state-invested assets to foreign investors, according to JoongAng Daily.
