Myrtle Beach International Airport in South Carolina, US, will install AMAG Technology's Symmetry Enterprise Security Management System and intelligent field hardware.

The symmetry, integrated with OnSSI's NetDVMS video management system, will provide an easy-to-use, flexible video solution for the airport.

The system, which will support the airport's 80 IP cameras, has a customised virtual matrix screen, which will enable security officers to view continuous live video and help them to make quick and informed decisions.

The investigation tools of the system will allow security personnel to view activity by event, from any wired or wireless camera anywhere in the airport.

Video will be recorded and securely archived to the video server, which has around 22 terabytes of video storage to accommodate 30 days of activity.
