An Air Canada plane carrying 155 passengers made a safe emergency landing at the Calgary International Airport in Canada last week, following hydraulic problems.
The pilot of the A-320 aircraft made the emergency landing as a safety measure after discovering the hydraulic doors over the landing gear could not be closed.
To avoid accidents, the airplane circled for 20 minutes to burn off fuel before landing safely at 10:13am on 7 October
After landing, the aircraft, with passengers and crew still inside, was towed off the runway as a safety precaution, according to canada.com.
After receiving a request for emergency standby and equipment from the pilot, emergency medical service, fire fighting trucks and police were rushed to the airport.
