The Estonian Air Navigation Services has awarded a contract to Comsoft to upgrade its electronic aeronautical information publications (eAIP) and aeronautical information management (AIM) system.

Under the contract, Comsoft will provide its web-based electronic input forms (eIF) as part of the Tallinn/Estonia September 2010 project.

The eIF will enable automatic identification system offices to directly collect static and dynamic aeronautical data from airports or other organisations for the creation of the AIP and NOTAMs.

The system will control the essential work flow for the checking and approval of received data, save operational costs and improve data integrity.

Based on Comsoft's CADAS-AIMDB, the eIF will help in the integration of AIP amendments, supplements, circulars and charts in the work flow and provide full support to AIXM 5.1 features.
