Tajikistan to Receive Era WAM Solution

Era has been awarded a contract by Tajikaeronavigation, Tajikistan's air navigation service provider, to provide a wide area multilateration (WAM) system for the nation.

Under the contract, Era will provide its MSS multilateration and ADS-B surveillance system in three phases.

In the first phase, the WAM system will be deployed in the northern part of Tajikistan.

The system will provide situation awareness of en route traffic in the Khujand section of the Dushanbe flight information region and approach surveillance for the Khujand International Airport.

The second phase will include surveillance for the south and central areas of the nation and the final phase will provide surveillance for the east of the country.
