Boryspil International Airport in Ukraine is planning to complete the construction of its F passenger terminal and open it to the public by 24 August.

Check-in counters in the terminal have been completed, while approach ways to the terminal and parking lot are soon to be paved as part of the finishing work, according to KyivPost.

The terminal construction, to be fully completed in 18 months, will be part of the reconstruction of four airports in Ukrainian cities hosting the finals of the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship.

Boryspil airport has increased its apron area from 143,950m² to 151,930m² and will also construct Terminal D with an area of about 100,000m².

The total cost of the project has increased by 12.9% to UAH335.79m ($42m), which will be financed by the federal government.
