The number of arriving passengers excluding transit passengers has increased 12% to 925,573, compared with 826,349 during the first half of 2009.

The number of departing passengers excluding transit passengers also rose by 16% to 960,569, according to gulfnews.com.

Aircraft movement posted a growth of 30% to 33,182 flights compared with 25,457 flights in the same period of 2009.
