July Traffic Rises 11.3% at Mexican Airports

Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico has reported that total passenger traffic in July 2010 increased by 11.3% compared with the same month in 2009 across its 12 airports.

In July, international passenger traffic increased by 19.7% year-on-year, while domestic passenger traffic increased by 7.8%.

International traffic rose 15.6% at Guadalajara International Airport, 41.0% at Tijuana Airport, 34.6% at Puerto Vallarta International Airport, 26.5% at Los Cabos International Airport, 0.3% at Guanajuato International Airport, 11.9% at Morelia International Airport and 8.4% at Los Mochis International Airport.

Domestic traffic rose by 15.7% at Guadalajara, 8.2% at Tijuana, 1.5% at Puerto Vallarta, 3.3% at Guanajuato, 5.8% at La Paz, 13.2% at Mexicali and by 33.4% Los Mochis.

Total terminal passengers rose by 15.7% at Guadalajara, 8.3% at Tijuana, 18.7% at Puerto Vallarta, 15.0% at Los Cabos, 2.0% at Guanajuato, 4.2% at La Paz and 13.1% at Mexicali.
