The US Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) newly appointed administrator, John Pistole, has outlined his priorities for enhancing airport security for passengers.

Pistole's goals include improving TSA's counter-terrorism focus through intelligence and advanced technology and supporting the TSA workforce.

He also said he will work to strengthen the agency's relationships with stakeholders and passengers.

Pistole plans to visit airports and other transportation facilities to gather feedback from transportation security staff.
