Copenhagen International Airport in Denmark recorded a 9.3% growth in June passenger traffic by handling over two million passengers compared with the same period in 2009.
The rise is 5,000 lower than the record set in the summer of 2008.
Nearly 180,000 more passengers passed through the airport compared to the same month in 2009.
The number of departing international passengers, transfer passengers, and domestic traffic increased by 23.3% year-on-year in June.
During the first six months of 2010, the airport handled 9,908,436 passengers, an increase of 5.7% compared to the same period in 2009.
