UK Airport Receives Fund for Runway Expansion

The airport secured £25m ($38m) from Santander and £20m ($30m) from RBS for the runway project, which will be completed in phases, according to birminghammail.net.

BIA has also begun work on a £13m ($19m) project to merge its two terminals, while work on a new £46m ($69m) international pier was completed in 2009.
