Renovated Terminal Opens at US Airport

St Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport in the US has opened a new terminal following the completion of a $21m renovation. The renovated terminal includes a new ticketing area, security screening check points and two new passenger loading bridges, according to Tampa Bay Online.

The renovated terminal includes a new ticketing area, security screening check points and two new passenger loading bridges, according to Tampa Bay Online.

Work on the terminal began in 2008 and was delivered by US-based contractor Ajax Building.

Funding for the project was secured from the Florida Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration, federal grants and a passenger facility charge.
