Bradley International Airport in the US has installed a new high-tech camera to screen its passengers in a bid to enhance security.

The camera, known as SPO-7, will measure wave frequencies emitted from a passenger's body and can detect hidden objects that a metal detector cannot.

The camera will be used in public areas such as baggage claim and ticket counters, and will offer passengers a hassle-free experience with no delays, according to wtnh.com.

As part of the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) pilot programme, the camera is also being tested at other US airports.
