Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in the US handled 737,071 passengers in March, an increase of 11% compared with the same period in 2009.
In March 2010, the airport’s enplanements totalled 363,280, an increase of 10.5%.
Cargo traffic also rose by 2.5% to 13,062,848lb compared with March 2009.
The airport’s total passenger traffic for January–March rose 6.5% year-on-year to 1,902,904, compared with January–March 2009.
Cargo traffic fell by 3% to 37,186,996lb and belly freight was also down by 14.5%.
In March 2010, general aviation operations at the airport totalled 5,548, a rise of 10%.
