Passenger traffic at Denver International Airport rose 5.1% to 3,700,975 during February 2010, compared with the same period in 2009.
With the increase in February, the airport’s total traffic in 2010 rose to 7,477,378, an increase of 4% or 286,081 passengers, compared with the first two months of 2009.
Denver International Airport’s flight operations increased by 1.5% to 47,293, and cargo traffic jumped to 13.7% with 40,634,853lb in February.
Denver aviation manager Kim Day said 2010 is shaping up to be a much better year for DIA as it sees more confidence in both the business and leisure travel sectors.
