Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport in China has installed a voice communication system as part of its ongoing expansion programme, in preparation for the Shanghai World Expo.

The Frequentis VCS 3020X system will power a network of voice communication facilities across eastern China and is designed to simplify local air traffic management (ATM) systems, improve efficiency and raise safety levels.

The VCS system will ensure that the airport is equipped to the very highest and latest technology standards.
