Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA) in China has reported a net profit increase of 252% to RMB300.8m ($43m) in 2009.
According to BCIA, the increase in profit was mainly due to government stimulus policies that boosted domestic demand for air travel.
BCIA's earnings per share was RMB0.07 with a final dividend of RMB0.03 per share.
The airport's revenue increased from RMB4.62bn ($675m) in 2008 to RMB4.96bn ($725m), a year on year increase of 7.4%.
In 2008, BCIA's net profit was RMB85.3m ($12m).
The airport's passenger traffic rose 17% year on year to RMB65.4m in 2009, exceeding its original target of RMB62m.
