PASSUR Aerospace is to provide San Francisco International Airport in the US with an airport management solution to optimise flight status information and enhance operational efficiency.
The PASSUR Arrival Management Programme will offer accurate and timely flight activity information for San Francisco's Airport Operational Database and related applications and business processes.
PASSUR RightETA will be integrated into existing systems and offer accurate arrival predictions to reduce the number of passenger and bag misconnections, unnecessary gate changes, and extended block times.
The new solution will upgrade the airport's passenger information systems in concurrence with the airport's $383m Terminal 2 renovation project.
On completion in 2011 the 587,800ft² terminal project will be equipped with a 13-gate narrow-body and single wide-body configuration for domestic airlines.
The terminal has been designed by San Francisco based Gensler Architects and Michael Willis Architects while construction will be delivered by San Francisco based Turner Construction.
