Gold Coast Airport in Australia has unveiled its new terminal as part of a A$100m passenger terminal redevelopment project.
The project has been completed ahead of schedule and took seven years of planning and construction activity.
It is the largest single investment in tourism infrastructure by Gold Coast Airport since 1998.
The former terminal was built in 1981 and could handle 300,000 passengers annually. In 2009, during construction, the airport handled five million passengers.
The facility is owned and operated by Queensland Airports Limited.
