Mexican Airports to Receive Capital-Expenditure Funding

Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico has been given approval for a capital-expenditure fund of 2.77bn pesos ($217.6m) for the next five years. Following approval from government regulators, the group will invest 819.6m pesos ($64m) at Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla I

Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico has been given approval for a capital-expenditure fund of 2.77bn pesos ($217.6m) for the next five years.

Following approval from government regulators, the group will invest 819.6m pesos ($64m) at Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport in Guadalajara and 754.6m pesos ($59m) at Los Cabos International Airport in San José del Cabo.

The airport operator also revealed the group's passenger traffic dropped by 13.3% last year to 19.29 million.
