Expansion plans for King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia have been approved by authorities.
The first phase of the project is expected to increase the airport’s annual capacity to 25 million passengers.
The airport is expected to receive large aircraft.
Prince Sultan bin Salman said the project includes developing the airport commercially.
“It will also improve services to passengers and create more jobs for Saudis,” bin Salman told arabnews.com.
