Daytona Beach International Airport in the US experienced a 12% growth in passenger traffic in November 2009 in comparison with the same month last year.

The airport recorded an increase to 32,853 passengers, up from 29,300, in November, the first increase in passenger volumes since June 2008.

However, the year-to-date figures reveal a overall decline of 31% with 422,462 passengers recorded in November 2009 compared with 608,912 passengers recorded within the same period in 2008.
