Mineta San Jose International Airport in the US will install baggage screening machines with explosive detection capabilities.

The four machines will be installed in Terminal A and will replace the existing manual screening system.

The new machines will incorporate streamlined in-line explosive detection, which will reduce handling times to make the baggage handling process safer, more secure, faster and more efficient.

Mineta San Jose International is the first airport in California to be fitted with the equipment.
