UFIS Airport Innovation (UFIS AI) has completed the installation of a baggage handling extension at the expanded main terminal at Geneva International Airport in Switzerland.

The baggage routing and information system (BRAINS) includes a high-level control system, interfaces, configuration, workstations, servers, low-level controls, electrical construction and wiring and a BHS core network.

The company is also providing 24h hotline support for the project, which began in October 2009.

The main terminal’s new facilities were inaugurated in October this year and include 13 additional check-in counters and a new baggage sorting facility.
