London Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5 will be equipped with CEM Systems' fully integrated IP security solution, making it the largest IP aviation implementation in the UK.

The £4.3bn terminal covering 260ha will be secured with CEM's AC2000 AE system to support the airport's projected 30 million passengers each year.

Terminal 5's access control system will be integrated with a CCTV system and a card reader that automatically segregates international or domestic and arriving or departing passengers.

Heathrow's other four terminals have also been secured by CEM Systems.
