Leeds Bradford International Airport in the UK has received planning permission for its £28m passenger terminal redevelopment initiative.

Architectural firm Pascall+Watson will undertake the design of a two-storey extension to the existing terminal alongside other internal improvements as part of the upgrade proposal.

A new departure lounge, an expanded passenger-security screening zone, domestic baggage reclaim hall improvements and remodelling of the airside immigration facilities are also included in the plan.
