Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems has been awarded a contract by SELEX Systemi Integrati to provide an integrated air traffic management (ATM) systems package for Doha International Airport in Qatar.

The new system will help the airport cater for increased flight volumes in the future and includes a ground-to-air communications system, instrument landing systems, and a digital voice and radar recording system.

A surface movement guidance and control system with surface movement radars and multilateration sensors integrated with SELEX’s automation system will also be supplied by the company.
