The New Doha International Airport Steering Committee has invited bids for the construction of a new rail terminal at the $11bn New Doha International Airport in Qatar.
Doha has plans to build five rail networks over the next ten years and is developing a Passenger Rail Station Box, which is being overseen by UK firm Mace International.
A railway station terminal for an express airport rail line connecting rail and metro stations in downtown Doha and other rail networks are to be built as part of the project.
The committee plans to complete the station by 2011, when the first two phases of the new airport will be unveiled.
