The foundation stone for the new A-Plus pier at the Frankfurt Airport in Germany has been laid, with construction to start soon. According to reports, the new 185,000m² pier will provide additional capacity for around six million passengers a year, and be used exclusively by Lufthansa.<

According to reports, the new 185,000m² pier will provide additional capacity for around six million passengers a year, and be used exclusively by Lufthansa.

The state-of-the-art airport and terminal infrastructure will have 7,500m² of floor space with two business lounges and a new first-class lounge.

Once completed, the 790m-long pier will provide parking for seven wide-body aircraft at the terminal. lternatively, the new area can handle 11 short-haul aircraft.
