Train services at London's Gatwick Airport in the UK have temporarily ground to halt because of a £45m upgrade, which will see trains be replaced by buses for the next ten months.
The upgrade is part of BAA's £1bn investment programme.
The new service is expected to begin by May / July 2010 and become fully operational by 1 August 2010.
The train service will eventually connect the north and south terminals.
An extra travel time of 20 minutes between each terminal has been advised to passengers.
