Rochester International Airport in Minnesota, US, has revealed its $2m remodelling proposal, which is currently in the planning stage and is expected to begin in November.

Airport manager Steve Leqve said the remodeling plan involves the replacement of mechanical machinery and refurbishments to the passenger terminal, passenger gate area, lobby and restaurant.

He said the proposal also includes installation of new baggage-screening machinery, fixing of new flooring in the lower-level passenger gates, new ticket counters for airlines and new floor finishes for the lobby.

The modifications are expected to be complete by March 2010.
