France’s Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport has ordered two baggage handling systems from French firm ALSTEF.

Under the first part of the order, which is scheduled for completion next year, the company will supervise Terminal 2E’s inbound baggage room.

This includes rearrangement of the baggage delivery space to prevent arriving baggage on the reclaim carrousels from re-circulating airside.

In the second part of the contract, ALSTEF will establish a new check-in space for Easy Jet, as part of the preliminary work for Terminal 2B’s reorganisation.

The order will be completed in time for the holiday period at the end of the year.
