Airport logistics firm Pteris Global is set to design and construct a baggage handling system at Queen Alia International Airport in Jordan.
Under a contract worth S$17m, the company will design, construct, erect and commission the departure and arrival systems for the new airport terminal.
This involves integrating high-level control software and hold bag security screening systems.
Pteris Global previously worked on another project in the existing Jordanian terminal.
The new project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2011.
