Skytanking Signs New Contract at Munich Airport

The specialist aviation fuelling division of Marquard & Bahls, Skytanking, has signed a seven-year contract with Flughafen to run the aviation fuel storage and hydrant system at Munich International Airport in Germany.

The fuel system consists of 30,000m³ (7.9 million gallons) of Jet A-1 storage and 14,000m (8.7 miles) of underground hydrant pipeline linking the storage to 500 aircraft stands.

Skytanking has been running the fuel facilities at Munich Airport since 1999.

Skytanking is a joint venture company between Skytanking Holding and Aircraft Service International Group (ASIG).
