The UK's second largest airport operator, Manchester Airport Group (MAG), has deployed Cornerstone OnDemand's software-as-a-service-based (SaaS) talent management solution to support its staff management.

Cornerstone's solution will be accessed by MAG employees for goal setting, performance reviews and development planning. The technology solution is aimed at improving the airport operator's performance management.

MAG's group strategy programme delivery manager Sharon Bell said that feedback from managers and colleagues indicated the need to migrate to a system that would provide timely access to critical information and offer comprehensive reporting functionality.

The SaaS solution covers the workforce life cycle, including onboarding, learning, social networking, compliance, performance, compensation and succession planning.

MAG operates and manages four airports in the UK – Manchester, East Midlands, Bournemouth and Humberside, serving more than 29 million passengers every year.
