King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has opened a new lounge in its south terminal as it sets about preparing for the arrival of new airlines.

The airport has recently begun receiving non-stop daily flights from the Indian airline Jet Airways between Mumbai and Jeddah.

The new lounge features internet services, seating areas with wide-screen televisions and play areas for children.

Silver and gold Alfursan card members as well as first and business-class travellers can use the lounge services.

The Saudi Arabian Airlines Catering Company is developing and operating the lounge.
