San Antonio International Airport in the US has delayed the construction of Terminal C due to a sharp decline in passenger traffic.

The airport has registered an 8% drop in passenger traffic which resulted in a drop of income from retailers, airlines and parking.

The airport had planned to build Terminal C during the replacement of Terminal B in 2008.

The airport is planning to increase its flights in 2010, with no additional flights planned for 2009.
