Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA) in the UK has completed a multi- million pound redevelopment project that included improving car parking facilities and the terminal frontage.

The improvements are the first step in a £28m investment project to upgrade the airport

The first phase of the project includes improving access for the bus and airport shuttle that links the airport with frequent services to Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate alongside a new drop-off and pick-up zone for car passengers.

The second phase of the project worth £2m included a rapid pick-up and drop-off zone as well as the renovation of the short-stay car park and enhancement of pedestrian walkways.

Commercial and aviation development director Tony Hallwood said that the airport is determined to continue to improve the quality of services provided to the passengers and their on-going investment will deliver a significant enhancement to terminal facilities.
