Halifax Stanfield International Airport in Canada will begin work on a multitenant cargo facility next week at a cost of $15m.

The 40,000ft² building will feature an 8,000ft² area embarked for temperature-controlled cargo and will be located near the new IMP hangar, which is accessible through a taxiway from the runway.

The new building will help retain the quality of perishable products, which are kept in cold storage until flight departure.
