Declining passenger traffic in May could have a negative affect on the BAA’s sale of Gatwick, Stansted and Glasgow Airports.
The UK airport operator says it managed 11.8 million passengers during the month, a drop of 7.3% from the same month 2008.
BAA said Heathrow Airport also recorded a 3.9% drop in its passenger traffic in May 2009 compared to the same month last year.
