Wellington Airport in New Zealand is making plans to cater for a predicted 3.4% per annum growth in 20 years by expanding its terminal with an investment of $450m.

The proposed 2030 Master Plan includes runway improvements, development of aircraft parking stands, additional terminal space and car parks and commercial projects – all designed to cater to 10 million passengers per year.

Plans have not included any runway extension.
